Sherman & Becca’s Wedding in Anderson, SC
I am so excited to share these photos with you! I was able to take Sherman and Becca’s engagement photos on Good Friday, but I was already booked for another wedding when they asked to have me as their wedding photographer. I wanted so badly to be in two places at once, but Matt was available and his style worked perfectly with Sherman and Becca’s personality. We always enjoy working with fun couples who like to be themselves and don’t mind when we have to travel either.
The wedding was outdoors in the same field where we took the engagement photos, which was gorgeous – even with the cloudy sky! Thankfully, the rain held off for the outdoor wedding ceremony so everyone could enjoy the event. The ceremony started with the most adorable entrance I’ve ever seen – the flower girl pulling the little ring bearer in a red wagon down the aisle runner… It seriously doesn’t get much cuter than that! Sherman and Becca are so in love with one another, which is evident when you see the look in their eyes. However, they’ve based their love and vows on their faith, which they showed during the ceremony by washing one another’s feet as a symbol of serving the other person like Christ. They also had everyone surround them and pray for them during the ceremony which was a unique way to have friends and family actively participate in supporting their marriage. It was a beautiful event!
The reception, despite a little rain, was full of fun times including dancing, corn hole, good food and celebrations. Sherman and Becca dashed through a confetti storm as they headed off to start the honeymoon. A lot of the wedding details were made by Becca and friends – a true DIY wedding full of character and charm. We love how they even wore TOMS shoes because they love helping others and giving back. You know it was a good wedding when you catch yourself smiling while looking through all of the photos. I hope you enjoy this sneak peek into the wedding of Sherman & Becca in Anderson, SC!

Father’s Day Special with Blooms of Dunwoody
Before we put the sneak peek to Becca & Sherman’s wedding, we wanted to make a quick announcement… We didn’t want to leave Dad’s out this year and are teaming up with Blooms of Dunwoody to offer the same special that we did for Mother’s Day! You may not think to order flowers for Father’s Day, but you would be surprised at the masculine arrangements that Blooms of Dunwoody are capable of, plus it’s nice to do something different. They can do cut flowers or some really nice potted arrangements as well.
If you spend $100 on any arrangement for Father’s Day (order must be placed before Father’s Day), then you will get $100 credit to use towards a session with us, Shutter Sweet Photography! The offer is good for the first 100 people to order so don’t delay – call Blooms of Dunwoody right now to place your order and reserve your photography credit that’s 770-395-7638!
We photographed the arrangements that went out the door for Valentine’s Day and were so impressed with the quality and variety. We were able to spend some more time with the wonderful people at Blooms of Dunwoody as we photographed all of the arrangements that went out for Mother’s Day. Again, they did an amazing job. The colors were stunning and the sweet scents filled the room as we moved the arrangements around to photograph them. Here are a few of the arrangements of the hundreds that went out the door for Mother’s Day. We’re really looking forward to meeting and working with some of the recipients soon! Enjoy and don’t forget to call to get your order in to Blooms of Dunwoody!

We hope you enjoyed the variety of flower arrangements in the Blooms of Dunwoody preview. Up next is the sneak peek to Becca & Sherman’s wedding so stay tuned!
Family Photo Session Downtown Atlanta
I got a call from Robyn in the spring looking for an Atlanta family portrait photographer. She lives in New Jersey, but was coming to visit her parents for their 50th wedding anniversary, along with her two brothers and nephews. They wanted to do a family photo session before dinner and didn’t want anything too formal and posed. Robyn said she had looked at our website and really liked the style as it captured natural moments and real emotion. I told her that was our goal and we’d be happy to work with them.
Robyn scheduled the shoot on the Saturday I was shooting a wedding in SC so Carrie was the main photographer for this shoot. Carrie has been a long time friend and trusted photographer who I love to shoot with. Carrie met Robyn and her family in Atlanta and had a great time hanging out while taking photos and walking around to get different views of the city. I was able to meet the family a week ago to review the photos together and had fun re-living some of the moments with them. I hope you enjoy the sneak peek of this family session from Atlanta!
