Shutter Sweet Photography has been providing custom wedding photography services for brides all over Atlanta, and have traveled the world to photograph weddings as well. We are honored when we’re chosen to capture a couple’s wedding day. Wedding photography is one of the few investments you make on your wedding day that will last beyond the event and we love giving people that gift! With our documentary (or photojournalistic) approach throughout the day, you will walk away with pictures that truly reflect the emotion, real-life events, and details of the wedding and reception exactly as you remember them – maybe even a little better.
The Proposal
We can’t tell you how much fun we have hiding in bushes, staking out roof-tops, or just acting like a tourist to capture the raw emotion and event of a proposal. We will go to the location before-hand to make sure we’re in the best position, with appropriate equipment and ready for any scenario to make sure you have unforgettable images of the beginning process of your two lives becoming one. Having those moments captured is special and Shutter Sweet Photography would love to help you show off your proposal in a special way . The Engagement Session
Getting to know you as a couple is extremely important to our photographers and it’s important for you to get to know us which is why an engagement session is in every package we offer. We will definitely spend some time learning about one another in our initial meeting, but the engagement session is the best way for us to get comfortable together and have fun before the wedding. It not only allows you to get used to a camera being focused on you for an extended period of time, but also allows the photographer to talk about your likes, dislikes, expectations and more! You’ll also get great photos that we can use for custom Save-the-Date cards and Thank You cards, a custom designed guest sign-in album, artwork for your home, and more! The engagement session takes an average of 2 hours and can be held at the location of your choice. We typically like to go somewhere that is meaningful (where you first met, your first date, the place you go once a week to hang out, your favorite park, etc.) and can talk more about that in our initial meeting. Bridal Portraits
Bridal portraits are another fun way for us to get to know each other better on an individual basis and capture stunning images. This is your time to be a super model in the dress you’ve been waiting your whole life to wear. Most brides will bring a friend, sister or mother along to help with things, which can make for a fun time, but isn’t necessary. We will have a consultation together before the shoot to decide on a location that is either meaningful or goes along with your personality and what we want to accomplish (for example, the purpose being a stunning image for a large canvas gallery wrap at the reception entrance). The shoot is all about you! Bridal portraits last 2-3 hours and can be at several locations if desired.
The Rehearsal & Dinner
We are happy to add rehearsal coverage and rehearsal dinner photography to any package. Some people really cherish the private time with family and close friends and want to capture those moments before the big day. Weddings are some of the few occasions when most, if not all, of the extended family are together at once. Shutter Sweet Photography will be there with you to capture every step of the way for as long as you want us around. Just let us know!
Your Wedding Day Coverage
The big day is here and we will have just as much adrenaline as you! We’ll be one of the first ones there as you start getting ready and we’ll be one of the last to leave. With our documentary style, you will hardly even notice we’re there as we capture things naturally as they happen throughout the day. However, we will step up and give direction when needed (during family portraits for example). We hope you will be filled with great memories and impressed by the wide range of images from the “wow” shot to sweet memories of the ceremony to the close up photos of details. Shutter Sweet Photography wants to leave you with artwork that you can cherish and enjoy the rest of your lives. We take care of our brides from the initial phone call to the last product is delivered and even continue relationships as life changes. Our base package starts at $4,000 which includes an engagement session, plenty of coverage on the wedding day, a custom album and a host of other options. Trash The Dress
If you’re back from the honeymoon and don’t plan on saving your dress for a future daughter or saving it for some other reason, let us know! We would love to work with you for a “Trash The Dress” session. Don’t worry – you don’t have to go completely nuts if you don’t want to, but feel free to get as creative as you would like – we have our own ideas as well! For example, we could go on a hiking trip with your dress or go to a paintball field with your groom and friends to get colorful. We’re up for anything and would love to get amazing photos of you in your gown for the last time without all the pressure of the big day!
